Not a bankruptcy petition preparer

We do not prepare, complete, or assist in completing bankruptcy petitions, schedules, or any official form, and we do not accept compensation to do so. Our materials help you organize information to bring to your attorney — they are not document-preparation services under 11 U.S.C. §110.

Not a credit repair organization

We do not offer to improve, repair, or fix your credit record, history, or rating, and we do not dispute items on your behalf. Our post-discharge materials are educational information about how credit rebuilding typically works.

Timelines, cost figures, and score-recovery patterns described in our materials are typical ranges drawn from public sources. Your outcome depends on your facts, your district, your trustee, and your attorney.

Our materials may help you stay organized, but they are not a substitute for legal advice. Your court's website and self-help resources describe the official requirements; many districts also have free legal-aid clinics.
